Mental Cruelty's third album has brought a surprise of musical change. While they kept some of their Slamming Deathcore music, other elements were mostly added that sounded Lorna Shore-esque: a haunting symphonic atmosphere and diabolical Black Metal melodies. I believe that this album attracts me more than their previous albums.

The vocals alone on the first track will blow your mind. Worm Shepherd is a next level band, frightening and very dynamic. Some of the best music in any metal sub genre. The Sleeping Sun is a truly exceptional EP that hits harder than most full length albums. This is their best release, and I can’t wait for the next one.
